‘Forgotten Jewels 2 (2008-2016)’ features thirteen previously unreleased electronic tracks by Guido Negraszus. The composer explains the late release as follows: “Sometimes you produce a great piece of music but somehow are unable to finish it the way you want to. So you put it on ice with the idea to come back at a later date, with fresh ideas to complete it then. Guess what? Most of the time, you forget about these tracks. Years go by and then suddenly you re-discover them by chance. This is what happened here. During 'house-cleaning' (going through my old hard drives) in September 2023, I was surprised to find all these tracks. Some tracks were ready to go just needing to be remastered, while others needed to be enhanced with additional arrangements. I’m really happy with the result. Considering that the tracks were recorded eight years apart, the album sounds like it was recorded and mixed in one production session. Overall, the album features a cross-genre variety of electronica, ambient and downbeat. I hope that you’ll love it as much as I do!”
